Now Postmapping is simple as pie for Firefox users. By installing the Postmapper Toolbar, users are only one click away from adding bookmarks to their map.
How to install the toolbar:
- Click here to download the toolbar, and choose the “Browse” button & select Firefox
Alternatively, you can choose “Save As…” and then open the file with Firefox (File » Open FIle…)

- Install the Plugin, it’s very safe - see the security notes below

- Restart Firefox, and you’re done!

How to use the toolbar:
Now that you have the toolbar installed, adding bookmarks is a snap.
- Sign into your account, if you haven’t already. Don’t worry, you won’t have to do this every time.
- Navigate to any page, blog, image, video, etc. that you’d like to map.
- Click the “Postmap This” button in your new toolbar.

- Give the bookmark a location. Addresses, place names, and more are acceptable, and you can drag the icon onto the exact location if you like.

- (Optional) Give the bookmark a description and tags if you want.
- Postmap it! Just hit the button, and you’re done.
Security Note:
When installing the Postmapper Toolbar, you should see a security warning like this:
This is why we love the people who develop Firefox! They actually have your security in mind, and so do we. Of course we’re not installing anything malicous at all, and the toolbar won’t collect any data other than the bookmark data you submit. Please feel free to comment below with any questions or concerns.
