My Tags
For registered users, the “My Tags” link displays tags that you have added to the map. Tag size correlates to the amount of posts that have been tagged with that term. Clicking on the tag will center and zoom the map around the posts with that tag.
*Note: Clicking tags in the My Tags section only displays your bookmarks.
Latest Tags
The “Latest Tags” link displays the latest tags from across the entire PostMapper site. Larger tags are more popular, and clicking the links will center and zoom the map around everyone’s bookmarks for that tag.
Popular Tags
The “Popular Tags” link displays the most popular tags across PostMapper.com. The larger, the more popular. Clicking these tags will display bookmarks from all users.
Searching
You may search tags under the “Search” tab and “My Map” tab, the difference being that a “My Map” search only displays your bookmarks whereas the “Search” tab locates all bookmarks from all users that match that tag. You may optionally specify a User Name or Location to search.
*Note: Search multiple tags by separating tags with commas (e.g. - “fishing, hiking”) will bring up results that match any of the tags
